Our neighbors at Living Word asked that we pass on this information about home renovation loans from their parishioner Wendell Stewart at Union Savings Bank:
Home Renovation Loan Criteria:
1. Home must be in low to moderate income tract area.
2. Home must be occupied by the applicant – this is for primary residential homes only.
3. Money is to be used for renovation purposes and receipts must be kept to verify – this is necessary for the grant to be forgiven.
4. Money is to be paid back in increments of $5.00 a month for 3 years and then forgiven.
